  After a long period of creating trompe l’oeil pieces and designing large scale sets for theater, Remmi currently find herself painting abstracts and map-like landscapes.  She has found that integrating collage techniques -- and the layering inherent to that method--creates a sense of juxtaposition that challenges the norms of visual perception while representing locations from Cape Cod to Fenway park.
